Review: For the lazy ones – Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask by The Body Shop

I must confess, I am pretty lazy when it comes to extensive facial treatments. I clean and clear every day and use a suiting face balm, but aaahmmm… that’s pretty it (besides a peeling I store in my shower so I stumble over it, clever girl, ha?). I usually don’t wear too much make up, I don’t smoke and keep alcohol on a low level, but: everytime I talk to one of these incredibly pretty ladies in a drug store or beauty boutique, I get the same advice… Use light anti-aging products. Thx, I know I’m getting old.

I am outside a lot and so my skin has to endure a lot of wind, sun and cold as well as temperature changes. Also, working in an office with dry air and artificial light doesn’t make it any better. So what? I decided to invest into a mask. And I found the best thing ever at my personal “The Body Shop” store. It’s the “Bouncy sleeping mask” from the “Drops of youth series” (oh they still talk about youth, that’s good). It’s not greasy, it’s more a light, but rich gel. And the best thing is, you apply it just like a normal night cream and don’t have to wait to remove it or something like that. That is perfect for a sleepy gremlin like me, who falls asleep in front of the tv all the time and is happy not to put too much effort into any skin care before waddling to bed.

I usually try to use only organic skin care and know that “The Body Shop” products aren’t but I really like this one and wouldn’t want to miss it anymore. I use it twice a week and my skin looks fresh and feels elastic afterwards. The price-performance ratio is great since you also don’t have to take a lot of it.

Here’s the link to the product in the online shop with a description. Thumbs up for this!

  1. The Bouncy Sleeping Mask is magical! I’ve been using it since last May. It also became quickly a part of my evening routine. I have a post about the routine too.
